Teased last month, the iQOO Z9 has made its official debut in India. Just as suggested in the teaser, the new smartphone sports an attractive design that is coupled with good mid-range specifications.

More importantly, the iQOO Z9 debuts with an attractive price tag. The base model costs INR 19,999 (around $240), making it a worthy competitor to the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G and Realme 12+.

Key highlights of iQOO Z9

Under the hood, the iQOO Z9 packs a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. This SoC can deliver much better performance than the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Dimensity 6080 found in similarly priced phones. The SoC is paired with 8GB of RAM, which is hardly enough these days. However, the good part is that iQOO has implemented a software feature that adds virtual memory.

As for memory, two options are available: 128 GB and 256 GB. If that’s not enough internal storage for you, you can use the dedicated microSD card slot to expand up to 1 TB.
