Samsung India has released a teaser of the upcoming Galaxy F55 smartphone. It is expected to be a mid-range smartphone with a unique twist. Samsung usually uses glass; a mix of glass and plastic for its mid-range phones. However, with the Galaxy F55, Samsung will use a vegan leather coating that gives the smartphone a unique touch.
The teaser was posted on h reveals some details about the device. For example, there are three circular camera cutouts and the design looks familiar from Samsung’s previous offerings. However, the new vegan leather finish is sure to be a differentiating factor for the Galaxy F55. With this teaser, we can confidently say that the Galaxy F55 is a rebranded Galaxy C55 that was launched in China.
The Samsung Galaxy C55 is currently available in China, but the company appears to be offering the phone under a different name for other regions. If Samsung doesn’t plan to change anything in the hardware department, then the Galaxy F55 could be a strong player in the market.

Considering that the Galaxy F55 is a rebranded C55, it will feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display with FHD+ resolution. The phone also gets a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
There is a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro shooter. There is a 50MP selfie camera on the front. In the performance department, the phone gets a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. Finally, the phone runs on a large 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
Expected price
Tipster Abhishek Yadav (via @LeaksAn1) reveals that the phone will come in three variants: 8/128GB, 8/256GB and 12/256GB. They will be at a cost Rs 26,999 (~$323), Rs 29,999 (~$359) and Rs 32,999 (~$395) respectively. However, the recent teaser of the phone hints that the launch may not be far away.
