Samsung is making good on its promise to bring One UI 6.1 to many of its phones, and the rollout is happening earlier than expected.
The company confirmed in a blog post on its Korean website that it will begin shipping One UI 6.1 to several older smartphones later this month. Samsung has also confirmed that these devices will get the same set of Galaxy AI features featured in this year’s Galaxy S24 lineup.
Samsung did not provide a specific release date for the update in its blog post. However, the company has confirmed that it will be available over the air before the end of March. This suggests that owners of older Samsung hardware can expect to receive the update in the next few weeks.
Which Samsung Galaxy devices are set to receive the One UI 6.1 update?
Samsung previously announced its plan to roll out One UI 6.1 to these devices. However, the inclusion of all the AI features available on the Galaxy S24 was not confirmed until now. This decision shows Samsung’s strong commitment to AI and its efforts to ensure that a wide range of devices can use these features.
It should be noted that Samsung does not limit the number of AI features available for its devices, meaning that any AI features found on the Galaxy S24 will be available on its older hardware. Search Circle: 
Samsung originally introduced Circle to Search on the Galaxy S24 and later made its way to the Pixel 8. Now Galaxy S23 owners will also be able to use this intuitive new method to perform Google searches in other apps. With Circle to Search, you can simply circle the content you want to search for and it will show all the relevant items for you without having to leave the app you’re currently using.
AI for Samsung Notes:
Samsung’s Notes app is getting an AI upgrade with several features that improve your note-taking experience. One particularly useful feature is Summarize, which provides a summary of a note without having to read it manually.
Voice recorder transcript:
Samsung’s software improvements also extend to the Voice Recorder app, with the addition of automatic transcription for recorded audio. This feature serves as a convenient tool for transcribing meetings or conversations, automatically transcribing your recordings for easy reference.
Samsung Photos Generative AI: 
Generative AI also integrates into Samsung’s Photos app, allowing users to effortlessly enhance their photos to achieve the desired look and feel. Interestingly, the feature can automatically suggest edits, providing recommendations without requiring user input.
Samsung Videos AI Slow Motion:
Even if you didn’t originally record slow motion videos on your Samsung device, Galaxy AI allows you to convert a video into slow motion after recording it. This feature is quite handy and works effectively by offering users the flexibility to add slow motion effects to their retro videos.
