Ayaneo began accepting pre-orders for the Pocket S on Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. There are two main options. One is the regular version, which comes with a 1920 x 1080 pixel screen and currently starts at $399. The second is the enhanced version that comes with a 2560 x 1440 pixel screen, and currently starting from $439.
You can get both Ayaneo Pocket S models in different RAM and storage configurations. Configurations go up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, which is more than enough for almost all android games. Speaking of which the gaming handheld runs on Android 13 with AYAHome launcher on top. There is a dedicated app to manage AYASpace too.
The Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 chip in the Ayaneo Pocket S runs at a 15-watt TDP. To keep this SoC cool, the handheld has a robust cooling system. It consists of a vapor cooling chamber and an active cooling fan. This setting ensures stable performance.
Other highlights of the gaming handheld include WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and 6000 mAh. Worth noting that the Pocket S comes with a metal frame this has hall sensors, gyro sensor and analog sticks. Ayaneo plans to start shipping in mid-May.
