A few days ago, POCO officially unveiled a new smartphone called the POCO X6 Neo, and just recently, the brand confirmed the release date of the device. The middle class is set to make its debut on March 13, which is just two days away. But you don’t have to wait to learn about the smartphone’s display and primary camera features.

As it turns out, the POCO X6 Neo has a promotional page on Flipkart, an online retailer and marketplace. This store listing confirmed the smartphone’s primary camera and display specs. It even gave us a first look at the front and back of the smartphone.

The POCO X6 Neo might just be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 13R Pro

Yes, you read that right. From all the official details we got about the POCO X6 Neo, it looks like the smartphone will be rebranded as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R Pro. But this is nothing new, as the regular X6 that launched two months ago was a rebrand of the Redmi Note 13 Pro.

So, first of all, the front and back of the POCO X6 Neo match the Redmi Note 13R Pro. That is, both smartphones have the same design, with two cameras on the back. Among the two, one of the sensors is a 108 MP camera, which Flipkart’s promo page has confirmed.

POCO is yet to share details about the X6 Neo’s secondary camera. But it’s likely a 2MP depth sensor, the same as the Redmi Note 13R Pro. We also see the same camera island design as the Note 13R Pro on the back.

POCO X6 Neo Screen Specifications

Gizchina News of the week

As for the display, the Flipkart listing has confirmed that the POCO X6 Neo will come with a 120 Hz AMOLED screen with 1000 nits peak brightness. Again, these screen specs match the Redmi Note 13R Pro’s display. As you can see from the attached image below, the front of the two phones also looks similar.

But, yes, Xiaomi sometimes makes some tweaks to its rebranded phones. So there’s a chance we won’t see an exact 1:1 copy with a different brand of POCO X6 Neo. The good news is that you don’t have to wait long to find out, as the phone comes out in just two days.

Which phones would be the main competitors?

From all the details we have, it’s pretty clear that the POCO X6 Neo will be an affordable mid-range device. But, of course, Xiaomi’s POCO brand is more affordable. So the device could be around 260 euros or 280 dollars, which is actually the starting price of the Redmi Note 13R Pro in China.

But the Redmi Note 13R Pro is a China-exclusive device, which is one of the reasons Xiaomi rebranded it as POCO. With this rebranding, the device will be available in more markets, starting with India. So, considering this is a China-exclusive device launch in other markets, the price could be anywhere from $300 to $350.

In this case, Realme 12 Pro will be the main competitor of POCO X6 Neo. The recently launched Samsung Galaxy A35 could also be a competitor to this device.
