Vivo has just confirmed the launch of the new Vivo X Fold3 series. The company’s next range of foldable smartphones will finally debut in China on March 26. The company will too bring your new one Vivo Pad3 Pro tablet and Vivo TWS 4 ANC on stage.

The company’s vice president and general manager of brand and product strategy Jiajing Dong revealed that the X Fold3 series will be the brand’s first foldable with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It’s worth noting that Vivo will maintain this lineup’s legacy of bringing some of the biggest foldable displays around. The Vivo X Fold3 is rumored to come with an 8.03-inch Samsung E7 display. The phone will continue the Vivo and ZEISS partnership and bring the Zeiss T* lens. The phone will feature a 50MP primary camera, a 64MP periscope telephoto lens, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and Vivo’s proprietary V3 imaging chip.

The Vivo X Fold3 series will bring Kaiyu Architecture, Vivo’s fancier name for solid phone construction. There will be construction improvements to maintain the reliability of the internal and external screens and ensure that every part of the phone is durable. The handset will come with an IPX8 rating for water resistance.

The foldable smartphone will also feature a 6.53-inch FHD+ AMOLED external display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will come with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 Storage. The phone will run on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14. It will have a 32 MP front camera for selfies and video calling. Apart from the new foldable smartphone, Vivo will also launch its new Vivo Pad3 Pro with a host of improvements over its predecessor. As usual, the tablet’s focus is on productivity and performance. It will bring a huge 13-inch 3.1K display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the tablet sports the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC like the Vivo X100 Pro. It runs on Origin OS 4 based on Android 14. The tablet will also feature an 11,500 mAh battery and 8 speakers and will include support for Vivo Smart Keyboard 3 Pro and Vivo Pencil2. For those who don’t know, the Dimensity 9300 is MediaTek’s high-end chipset with four ARM Cortex-X4 cores for exceptional performance.

Vivo TWS 4

The company will also introduce the Vivo TWS 4 earphones. They will feature the first ceramic tungsten acoustic diaphragm, which is said to be a major “cornerstone for the TWS series.” It will offer support for 44db, ANC, AI Vocal Enhancement, Ambient Sound Transmission and Wind Noise Resistance.

The Vivo TWS 4 Hi-Fi version will feature the third-generation Qualcomm S3 audio platform. It supports 44ms low latency, AI fit detection and weighs only 4.8 grams per bud. The tips are claimed to weigh just 4.8 grams per tip. They will ship with 45 hours of total and 11 hours of standalone battery life.
