Xiaomi Buds 5 gets certificate hinting at global launch, key details revealed

Xiaomi Buds 4 was introduced back in December 2022 in China. While the earphones appeared globally in 2023. Now, certificates have appeared online that suggest the launch of the all-new Xiaomi Buds 5. There is not one but multiple certificates that also reveal some information about the upcoming wireless earphones. Additionally, the appearance of multiple certifications online suggests that the launch is just around the corner, making it a must-read for those interested in new headphones.

The Buds 5’s multiple certifications were spotted by TheTechOutlook. One of the main certifications is FCC. Thanks to the FCC listing, we have some key details about the device. For starters, the handset will have a frequency range of 2400 MHz to 2483.5 MHz. The headphones come with a PIFA antenna with an impedance of 50 ohms. According to the listing, the earphones themselves measure 17.18mm x 20.17mm x 30mm, while the box measures 53.2mm x 24.5mm x 53.93mm. The total weight of the headphones and the case is about 44.7 grams.

Apart from the FCC listing, the handset has appeared in SDPPI, SIRIM and CMIIT. These listings may not have revealed much information, but still, the fact that there are so many certificates means that we should see the announcement soon. Also, the Chinese company is expected to launch the Civi Pro 4 smartphone in India and it is possible that the headset will be announced with it.
