Various offices under MeitY Participate in special campaign 2.0 with enthusiasm.
Undertaking Swachhta activities in office premises and all organizations in the country, Special Campaign 2.0 is an ongoing initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) from October 2, 2022 to October 31, 2022. This campaign not only focuses on the cleanliness of the physical but also the cyber world, enhancing cyber security, cyber safety and cyber hygiene.
The month of October was observed as Cyber Security Month by the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) together with ISEA. A regular presence on major social media platforms like Twitter has raised awareness of Cyber Swachhta in the country.
A daily action plan was prepared to be implemented by MeitY and its organizations. The pledge was taken at the launch of the special 2.0 campaign on October 2, 2022. On the same day, a 3.0 km Fit India Run was organized from Electronics Niketan office complex to Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium and back.
A Blood Donor Camp was organized on 11 October 2022 at Electronics Niketan building with the coordination of doctors from AIIMS. About 70 employees from MeitY donated their blood.
During this special campaign, an e-waste pledge ceremony was organized by MyGov on plastic waste management and single-use plastic (SUP) ban and solid and liquid waste management.
