Apple will reportedly announce new devices soon; New iPad Pro, iPad Air, MacBook Air models are available

Apple is reportedly preparing to announce multiple devices soon, but without much fanfare. The Cupertino-based tech giant is said to be revamping its tablet lineup with its new silicon via a press release after skipping it in 2023. Along with that, new MacBook Air models, a new color option for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus and several other products may also be launched by the company, a report claimed. While the iPad Pro, iPad Air, and MacBook Air models could be unveiled as early as this week, the rest of the products are expected to be announced by April 2024.

Citing unnamed sources “familiar with the matter,” MacRumors report said that Apple could launch new devices this week itself. However, it did not reveal which products are expected to be announced or when exactly that announcement might happen. However, this is not the only report claiming that Apple is planning to introduce multiple products.

Bloomberg’s Mark German, in his Power On newsletter, said: “Apple has a lot of new hardware coming out over the next few weeks. This includes refreshed iPad Pro models and an updated iPad Air that adds a 12.9-inch screen option, as well as new Apple Pencils and Magic Keyboards for high-end iPads. On the Mac front, there are 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air variants that come with the faster M3 chip. All of these new products are being manufactured overseas and Apple’s marketing teams are gearing up to announce them fairly soon.

According to reports, the list could include significant upgrades to two new iPad Pro models. Apple tablets are expected to be equipped with M3 chipset, OLED panels, redesigned rear camera module, landscape-oriented front camera, thinner body and more. This will be the first time in more than five years that the Pro models have received such a major update.

Two new iPad Air models are also expected to be introduced and feature M2 chipsets. The biggest highlight of this lineup is reportedly the company’s first 12.9-inch iPad Air model. The MacBook Air is also said to receive an update in the coming weeks. New 13-inch and 15-inch models may be introduced, powered by the M3 SoC and supporting WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

In addition to these, a new Magic Keyboard with a larger trackpad, a new Apple Pencil and new shades for iPhone cases and Apple Watch straps are also expected. This is also the time when the tech giant traditionally reveals a new color option for the latest iPhone series. The report mentions that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could be the first to get the new coating in the coming weeks.

Although they are significant releases for the company, recent reports claim that there will be no event for these devices and they will be released through multiple press releases over the next few weeks.
