HMD recently unveiled its first batch of self-branded smartphones earlier this week. The company introduced the HMD Pulse series in selected European markets, which includes – HMD Pulse, Pulse+ and Pulse Pro. The India launch date of these phones is yet to be confirmed, but HMD has revealed that its own branded phones will be coming to India. The company will announce the name of the first HMD phone to be launched in India next week.

No other details about the expected model have been announced yet. We might learn more about the upcoming phone in the next few days before the unveiling. It is being speculated that one of the recently launched HMD Pulse phones might make it to India.

The HMD Pulse is priced at €140 (roughly Rs. 12,460) and comes in Atmos Blue, Dreamy Pink and Meteor Black color options. The HMD Pulse+ comes in Apricot Crush, Glacier Green and Midnight Blue shades and is priced at EUR 160 (Rs. 14,240 approx). Finally, the top model HMD Pulse Pro is available in Black Ocean, Glacier Green and Twilight Purple colors priced at EUR 180 (Rs 16,000).

The HMD Pulse and the Pulse+ model run on a Unisoc T606 SoC paired with a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of built-in storage. They come with Android 14, 6.65-inch 90Hz LCD screens and 5000mAh batteries with 10W charging support. The base phone features a 13-megapixel dual rear camera system, while the Plus variant gets a 50-megapixel dual rear camera. The front cameras of both models have 8-megapixel sensors.

The HMD Pro, on the other hand, sports a 6.56-inch HD+ display and comes with the Unisoc T606 SoC along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. It features a 50-megapixel dual rear camera system as well as a 50-megapixel front-facing camera sensor. The phone has a 5000 mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.

HMD has too revealed the HMD Vibe model in the US. While it is unlikely that this model will make it to the Indian markets, this is also the case it is reported a budget offering from the company marked down at $150 (roughly Rs. 12,500). The listing doesn’t reveal all the details, but reports claim it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, a 4,000mAh battery with 10W charging support, a 13-megapixel dual rear camera, a 5-megapixel selfie camera, a 6.56-inch 90Hz HD+ display, and an IP52 build.
