The dedicated phone stand is a great way to keep your desk free while charging your handset at the same time. If you have a phone with wireless charging, we highly recommend using a wireless charger so you don’t have to mess around with annoying cables. The Anker 313 stand is a good option, as it supports 10W high-speed charging with the latest Samsung Galaxy phones and 5W charging with recent iPhones like the iPhone 15. We especially like how affordable it is ($20 at the time of writing), but keep in mind that you you must provide your own power brick.

If you have a phone without wireless charging, we recommend Lamicall stand, as there is a power hole for the charger cable on the back. The stand is made of high-quality aluminum alloy and the cradle can be tilted forward and backward for different viewing angles. If you want, you can put your phone horizontally to watch videos.

If you want to charge multiple Apple devices at once, consider a multi-device charger. It’s our favorite Belkin BoostCharge Pro 3 in 1 Pad as it features 15W MagSafe charging for iPhones, fast charging for Apple Watches plus space for AirPods or any other Qi-compatible headphone case. The Apple Watch charger is particularly notable because it not only works horizontally and vertically, but also has a button that allows you to accommodate different sizes plus third-party cases. In addition, the horizontal layout allows you to charge any wireless phone at reduced speeds.

Alternatively, if you want a smaller footprint version, Wireless charger 3 in 1 BoostCharge Pro is a fantastic option. It also has MagSafe 15W charging and will charge the Apple Watch and AirPods. However, the recessed earpad means you can’t charge a second phone on it.

If you want something more affordable, this Anker MagGo charging station is also a solid option. There’s only a single magnetic charging pad on the front for your phone, but there are a bunch of ports—three AC outlets, two USB-C ports, and two USB-A ports—for charging other devices.

One way to really save space is to get a lamp with a wireless charger built into the base. The IKEA Hectare it has a classic look with a 5W induction charger, plus an additional USB port so you can charge two devices at the same time. Alternatively, this LED table lamp AFROG packs a lot of features into a relatively small footprint. It has a wireless charger, a USB charging port, five lighting modes with seven brightness levels plus a 30 or 60 minute shut-off timer.

For a more futuristic design, Taotronics LED table lamps a slim style might be more your speed. Supports fast charging up to 7.5 watts (for iPhone) or 10 watts (for Samsung Galaxy phones), additional USB port on the side; five different color temperatures; and an option for a one-hour dimmable timer for a desk lamp that will turn off when you go to bed. — NL
