It is believed that Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in the second half of this year. Leaked unofficial renders gave us our first look at the company’s latest flagship, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, last month. Now, DSCC analyst Ross Young has shed some light on the color options of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The book-style foldable phone is said to come in three color options, while the clamshell flip phone could come in four different color ranges. These are expected to include upgrades over the current Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Ross Young (@DSCCRoss) on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday (March 7) claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be available in three color options — dark blue, light pink, and silver. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is said to be available in light blue, light green, silver and yellow colors.
Recall that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is available in Cream, Icy Blue and Phantom Black color options. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is available in Cream, Graphite, Lavender and Mint shades.
According to past leaks, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have a 6.2-inch external screen and a 7.6-inch internal display. It can measure 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 mm. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to get a 3.9-inch bezel. The Galaxy AI features available in the Galaxy S24 series may also make their way to the new foldable devices.
Leaked renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 suggest a boxier design with squared edges. He pointed to larger internal and external displays for the foldables with a center-aligned notch with display perforation and triple rear cameras.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are expected to go official in July or August. Galaxy Unpacked for the sixth generation of Galaxy Z foldable devices is rumored to be held in Paris.
