RedMagic DAO 150W GaN charger arrives with LCD, RGB lights and more

Nubia has just revealed a new charger from the RedMagic series. The new device is quite interesting if you are looking for a luxury charger for your compatible 150W charging smartphone. The RedMagic DAO 150W GaN charger arrives today with a transparent design, RGB lights and some neat and interesting features. The device measures 110x71x35 mm and weighs 870 grams. It has four ports: 1 x USB-A, 2 x USB-C and 1 x DC.

The RedMagic DAO 150W GaN charger has a maximum power of 150W. Powered by DC port at 20V / 7.5A. The other two USB-C ports can reach up to 140 W, while the single USB-A port can reach up to 30 W. With these capabilities, the power brick can simultaneously charge multiple devices. Compatibility ranges from gaming laptops to smartphones and tablets.

The RedMagic DAO 150W Gan charger supports the PD3.1 protocol, which, combined with the DAO All-GaN chip, enables “dual-chip management”. This technology provides faster charging and advanced temperature control. This results in an efficient boot that also has security controls. In addition, the adapter comes with advanced dual cooling technology of copper sheet and gel. It quickly dissipates heat and reduces power consumption to allow fast charging.

The DAO 150W GaN charger features a customizable LCD display. It displays real-time charging status and input and output power, among other parameters. It also features a side touch button, an AC line, a colored light bar and an interchangeable base for personalization and styling. The charger also comes with Bluetooth support. Allows the user to remotely control the RGB lights and monitor the charging status for individual ports in real-time via the Goper app. Nubia says it can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for Windows, Linux and Android devices.

The charger plug is detachable and collapsible. It is also compatible with interchangeable plugs. So you can buy the charger with US or EU plugs. The new charger costs €199 in Europe, MXN 3699 in Mexico and $199 in the US, Canada and other countries. It will be available through the official RedMagic website. It may seem expensive for a charger, but considering everything it offers, the price is justified. The charge brick will be $20 less from March 1st to March 31st.

The retail package comes with 1x AC adapter cable, 1x DC to DC charging cable, 1x Type-C to Type-C 6A 150W custom data cable (with PD3.1) and 1x velvet pouch. It’s a convenient charger to charge all your gadgets at once.
