Nintendo is about to kick off its first event of the year with Direct partner Showcase focused on upcoming third-party games for Switch. We could see the first news about Xbox titles like Pentiment is coming to other platforms and maybe, hopefully, more for the very delayed Hollow Knight sequel Silksong. The 25-minute presentation begins at 9 a.m. ET today (February 21), and you can watch it below.

As mentioned, today’s Direct can be more meaningful than the typical storefront. Last week, Microsoft announced that it would begin offering some of its exclusive titles on “other consoles,” presumably meaning the Switch and Sony’s PlayStation 5.

Microsoft didn’t develop much more than that, but rumours quote Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, A sea of thieves and Grounded presumably the first titles are being moved to other platforms. The one thing we know for sure, though, is this Starfield and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will remain exclusive to Xbox for now.

Additionally, there are several upcoming third-party games with no release dates, including Counter: Operation Galuga and The Great Penny Breakaway, so Nintendo can give us more information about them. We also hope to hear about Hollow Knight: Silksong which last we heard in May 2023, was delayed and had no updated release window.
