ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra launched: design, specifications and price

Today ASUS has unveiled its latest smartphone named Zenfone 11 Ultra. The Zenfone series is a well-known range of smartphones and that’s why we’re excited to see their new phone. The smartphone was officially unveiled at a launch event that was held virtually. It is completely identical to the previously released ROG Phone 8 Pro, but with minor differences. Zenfone 11 Ultra Design

At first glance, the smartphone looks quite simple. There is a square camera module in the upper left corner. At the bottom, the company decided to put a Chinese character that means “people”. Apart from that, the smartphone is kept clean and simple in appearance. There are four color options including Skyline Blue, Eternal Black, Misty Gray and Desert Sand.

ASUS claims that their new smartphone is made by 100% recycled aluminum and the front screen includes eco-friendly 22% recycled glass.

Specifications

Starting with the display, the Zenfone 11 Ultra gets a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display. It has FHD+ resolution and to keep things smooth, it has a 144Hz refresh rate. Other fantastic features include a peak brightness of 2500 nits and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

On the back, the phone has three sensors. The main one is a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with Asus’ 6-axis Hybrid Stabilizer 3.0. While the other two are a 13 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 32 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. On the front, there is a 32 MP camera placed in a punch-hole notch.

Moving on to the performance department, the phone comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. In the battery department, the phone welcomes you with a 5500 mAh battery that supports 65W wired and 15W wireless charging. Make sure you have a separate adapter as the company ships the phone without one.

Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7 support, 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio and Qualcomm aptX lossless audio.

Pricing

The Zenfone 11 Ultra has a starting price of €999 (~$1092), which comes with a 12/256 GB configuration. There’s also a high-end 16/512GB configuration priced at €1,099 (~$1,202).
