Reyax Technology has announced the release of a new RYLR993 868/915MHz transceiver module that supports the LoRaWAN long-range wireless protocol.

RYLR993 provides both LoRaWAN, LoRa Proprietary selection and support for LoRaWAN Class A, Class B and Class C; therefore, it is able to meet different customer needs or energy consumption. With the support of REYAX RYLR998 patented mode, RYLR993 is easy to connect to RYLR998, which is also a widely used LoRa module from REYAX. In addition, with AES128 CCM data encryption, the RYLR993 provides better mutual authentication, integrity protection and data transfer privacy.

Helium is a globally distributed hotspot network that creates long-range public wireless coverage for LoRaWAN IoT devices. With support from both LoRaWAN protocol and Helium Compatible, the RYLR993 can connect to a Helium hot spot and builds the complete architecture for the Internet of Things, which means developers can focus more on developing applications, but there is no need to worry about how they integrate a system combination from nodes to base stations.

To help product developers to quickly evaluate and develop a new project, REYAX also provides another RYLR993_Lite, which has the same function as the pin-out RYLR993. The module is now widely used in several fields such as mobile equipment, home security, industrial monitoring and car alarms.
