The Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition, said to be the successor to the Honor Magic 5 Ultimate Edition, has been confirmed to launch in China soon alongside the Honor Magic 6 RSR and Honor MagicBook Pro 16. The company has revealed the design of the upcoming phone and tease his color options before. It has now also confirmed some key details about the phone’s display. The Magic 6 Ultimate model is all set to join the Honor Magic 6 series, which was launched in February with the Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro.

The company revealed on Weibo post that the upcoming Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition will come with a dual-stack tandem OLED display that is claimed to increase screen life by 600 percent and improve energy efficiency by up to 40 percent. The phone has been confirmed to launch with the “Honor Stacked Oasis Eye Protection Screen” (translated from Chinese) on March 18 at 7:30 PM Beijing Time (5:00 PM IST).

Another post confirmed that the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition will also have Honor Diamond Rhino Glass protection which is claimed to be both scratch and drop resistant. Meanwhile, both the Magic 6 Ultimate model and the (Porsche-inspired) Magic 6 RSR version are was annoying to get an SLR-level “Eagle Eye super dynamic camera” (translated from Chinese), which is said to offer the world’s first car-level LOFIC (side-flow integration capacitor) technology.

Earlier, Honor confirmed that the Magic 6 Ultimate Edition will be offered in Ink Rock Black and Sky Purple color options (translated from Chinese). The phone’s centrally located rear camera module is noticeably different in design from the rest of the models in the range. The square shape is rounded at the diagonally opposite corners. Three camera sensors along with an elliptical flash are placed in the module. The phones are seen in leatherette finishes.

Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition is confirmed to feature up to 100x digital zoom. Not much is known about the phone’s other specifications. More details are expected to emerge closer to the launch date.
